Johnny Greenwood – Tibrogargan (mp3)

A song about a mountain north of Brisbane…. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibrogargan

This is meant to be listened to as an aural adjunct to this blog entry by The Goat that Walks (and writes):

More information on Australian country singer Greenwood can be found here:  http://www.countrymusichalloffame.com.au/Hands/Greenwood_Johnny.htm

Apparently: "1973 – RCA released Johnny’s own ‘Goondiwindi Grey’ song which made top 40 charts in at least three states and was RCA’s biggest selling single in  Australia at the time, even outselling singles of Elvis Presley and David Bowie etc".

A slow year for Elvis and Bowie?
